One of the 200 Immortals. Chosen
to be “The Warrior”. Perhaps the most famous of all the Immortals. No other
Immortal is as respected and beloved by Union Citizens and no other is as
famous and feared by the enemies of the Union. Fought in every conflict and war
since 2080, and always personally and at the front. Honorary Commandant of the
United Stars Marine Corps. After the Piostla war an anti war hysteria ( Kermac
Psi Subversive Attack) swept the Assembly and Stahl was not only dismissed but
, stripped of all rank and sentenced to death. Death sentence was commuted into
a sentence of exile. Stahl disappears from History and public eyes. During the
Battle of Saran when the Y’All were about to win and destroy the Union and eradicate
Saran and Earth. Stahl reappears with a huge Alien battle ship and a new alien
weapon. The Alien ship and the new weapon turns the tide and the Union is safe
and wins the war against the Y’All. Stahl is restored to the second in Command
of the fleet and First in Command over the Union Marines. Stahl insists on the
Immortal responsibility act. A law that requires the Assembly each year to
discuss the performance and conduct of the Immortals in power. (GC:1)

in the smallest ship : Keel (down) Top (up), Bow (front), Aft (back), starboard
(right), port side (left). Most Shields require enormous amounts of energy and
are usually the most power consuming systems aboard a star ship. Captains may
order specific power distribution, to conserve energy in other areas or to
strengthen shields in a particular direction. To have the ability to distribute
power to the most needed side is the reason to have segmented Shield generators

Airlock

An airlock is a device which permits the passage of people
and objects between a pressure vessel and its surroundings while minimizing the
change of pressure in the vessel and loss of air from it. The lock consists of
a small chamber with two airtight doors in series which do not open
simultaneously. An airlock may be used for passage between environments of
different gases rather than different pressures, to minimize or prevent the
gases from mixing.

What an extraordinary effort.

I am utterly
exhausted, it's 4 am, couldn't sleep, couldn't stop reading, and I have work
tomorrow. Just couldn't let go. this is extraordinary well rounded, and polished
enough for publishing in my opinion. I am glad I stumbled on this story. I was
desperate for something new to read, and couldn't find something fresh in the
kindle store, so as I was haunting for a gold nugget, I remembered the old
fictionpress and decided to try there. as usual you have to spend quite a lot of
time separating the wheat from the shaft, but from time to time, a nugget of
gold emerge, and today I hit the mother-lode. :)
A coming of age story, in a
futuristic universe, with spaceships, psionics and all my favorites themes
check. well written...check. interesting characters. check. very well
constructed universe check. fresh. triple check. long... check. you simply hit
all the right notes.
So I started reading, and I have just now emerged. I've
just now moved all your work to my kindle so I can read from wherever, and will
now read from there. btw you know you can publish on the kindle store as an
indie don't you. this is better than most indie books, and would stand a very
good chance to be published I think. moreover your writing will get more
audience. Fictionpress sees very little traffic really, although it's a great
website.
Really gotta run and catch some sleep. I'll probably be late from
work as it is, but it was worth it. thank you very much for the great time I
spent lost in your universe.
